Biography

Hello. My Name is Ben Chavez. I am a local artist from Santa Fe New Mexico. I have been a silversmith since 1984. I learned silversmithing at the Goldsmithing and silversmithing Institute in Albuquerque New Mexico in 1984 and was awarded a Certificate of Completion. Currently I am a Plaza Artist selling my handcrafted pieces  outdoors on the Santa Fe Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico for 35 years.
